Now with Autumn well and truly upon us and winter is just around the corner its important to think about control of #leafcurl and other fungal disease on your stone fruit trees. At about 50% defoliation is a good time to spray your trees with a good copper-based fungicide at the recommend rate. Spray on a sunny day so the fungicide dries on the trees. No more application will be needed till bud swell in Spring. Pick up any old fruit that has mummified on the ground and discard, this will help control brown rot on next seasons crop.
